Consigning with La Maison:
Consigning with La Maison Fine Home Furnishings is a personal experience that we are proud of. We appreciate our consignors and work with them on a personal level to ensure the transaction is a collaboration that works. We pride ourselves with our extensive knowledge and experience, both personally and professionally of home furnishings as well as the design industry.
For consignment consideration, all items must be in good to excellent condition, clean, in working order, free of fabric defects such as tears, snags, punctures or fading, and free of pet hair or stains. All items must be from a smoke-free environment.
The consignment contract term is a period of up to 90 days. We offer 50% of the final sales price. Standard consignment pricing is based on a percentage of the original sales price of the manufacturer or retailer adjusted by the age, condition, quality and other qualifying factors.
The Process:
Send photos! Photos help us determine if your consignment items are the right fit for La Maison. Please include a description of your piece(s) including the manufacturer or where purchased, approximate year of purchase and amount paid. For antiques, if known, please relay the manufacturer, origin and approximate age. If you are unsure of these details, we will be able to assist you with further research.
Please as well disclose any conditions issues or if you need a certain price point, so we can know in advance. On larger pieces, it is very helpful to include dimensions. As well, please let us know timing of ideal placement of your item or a date range of possibilities, so if we are full we can put you on the schedule.
Consignments are accepted Thursday-Friday from 12-4 or by prearranged appointment. La Maison reserves the right to refuse any prequalified items upon final visual inspection.
